Hi,
First try an ice cube to get the heavy wax off the cloth. When you have off as much as you can, then take some soft paper towels and lay on the cloth and use a blowdryer on low or med setting to melt the residue and lift off the wax. Do a small area at a time and keep moving the towel so it will absorb the wax/oil. Good luck.
References :
If possible, take the grill off first to avoid damage to the speaker... Then inspect the type of material the grille is made off... If it seems like nylon or any other flexible material, break off most of the wax by hand very carefully, then with a very sharp blade, scrap off the surface on both sides of the grille... finally use a warm source such as a hair dryer to remove whatever excess is left....
References :
Take the grille cover/cloth off, and put it your ironing board if it will fit or on a table with a bath towel under it to protect your table.

With your iron set on it's lowest setting, no steam, take a few white paper towels stacked on top of one another and gently move the iron on top of the paper towels check every few minutes to see that the wax is soaking into the paper towel, and change the paper towels as needed. Be careful not to press too hard you don't want to scorch the fabric. It may take a little time but it worked like a charm when we where careless with a candle.
References :
Personal experience
