Romantic evening with a few melted candles knocked over, lol. So how do you get dried candle wax out of the carpet?
Steam Carpet Cleaner. — I had a professional company with a very powerful carpet cleaning machine suck it right out of my carpet. They had no problem removing the wax in minutes.

I used a ton of candles over the holidays. I just noticed a large spot on my new carpet is covered with harden candle wax that dripped down from the fireplace mantle. Can anyone suggest a safe way to remove the wax without damaging the carpet?
Hi
There is two ways to remove wax from carpet.
1/ Use the edge of a butter knife to carefully scrape off or lift up as much solid wax as you can .Use a dry clean white terrycloth place it over the wax spot then heat it with a iron on low setting because most homes have polyester carpet, and if the iron gets too hot, it’ll melt the carpet. Keep checking the spot every ten seconds or so, moving the terrycloth so that a clean spot is on the carpet.
2/ Which is the better way. Use the edge of a butter knife to carefully scrape off or lift up as much solid wax as you can Heat up a full kettle of water and pour it slowly on the carpet at the same time with a wet vac vacuum up the water. Keep on doing this until the wax is removed.

whats the differance in burning time between using a candle warmer and lighting the wick of a candle. I don’t see how the candle would last longer with a warmer.
A candle warmer uses heat to warm/melt a candle. Using this method instead of the wick & flame allows the entire candle to be used. A flame can never really burn the entire candle. In addition, a candle warmer results in a purer smell, undiluted by the smell of smoke and burning.

Try to buy some andle from on line, tea light candle, but some of them are was candle, some of them are gel , any difference ? Which type cost more? also , none scented or scented better?
Wax candles are solid, gel candles are liquid, that’s the only difference besides what smells they come in…..I like the gel candles better…. It’s up to you to decide what scents you like

Mu aunt gave my a bunch of votive candle holders with half burned candles in them. I want to put new candles in them for my wedding, how the heck do I get the half burned ones out? I tried the freezer. It didn’t work.
Go along the edge with a butter knife to get the big pieces out, then soak the rest of it over night.

What is better a candle or fragrance oil?
I was at bath and body works. But did not know which one is better, the fragrance oil or a candle. I’d really like to know from your experience which one is better.
There both good, but i think the fragrance oil last longer.

I left a candle burning and the glass got to hot and it broke. The wax melted and ran onto my new shag carpet. Does anyone know how to get candle wax off carpet with out totally destroing it? I don’t want to cut it.
Ah ha – this I know it works from experience. Cover the wax spot with an old towel and and run a hot iron over the wax spot. Move the towel around frequently so it doesn’t end up on your iron until all the wax has been melted off the carpet and onto your towel!
I spilled a big dark blue candle ALL OVER my gray carpet and got every bit of it out.
p.s. Don’t us a paper towel – use a real absorbent cloth towel.

How on Earth can I get melted candle wax out of my shag carpet? This would be a lot of candle wax! Any help here would be soooo nice. Thanks!
Get a wired bristled brush or paint scraper and break up the wax as much as you can. Get all the excess off and vacuum the area up well. Then grab a roll of paper towels and an iron.
Put a paper towel on top of the wax, then put the iron on the lowest setting. Run it over the paper towel, press down gently, etc, until the paper towel has soaked up some of the melted wax. Change paper towel (I actually use two at a time) and repeat. It takes a while so don’t be afraid to leave the iron alone for 3-4 minutes then moving it around. This will get all the wax out of the carpet.

What do ppl do with candles when they are intimate with one another? I hear stories about the candle wax and getting sensation from it while someone is climaxing.
What do they do? Pour hot wax on their actual thing? Wouldnt that burn it? I’m scared to try! Pls advise, sexually experienced ppl!
Did you ever watch the Ricky Martin video Living La Vida Loca YEARS ago? A women pours wax on him… but anytime I have heard of it its usually on their chest… (on the private parts would cause serious burns). I think SOME people are stimulated by pain… and others by the mixing in temperature… (thats why some lubricants have heating sensations) I am not into the pouring wax things… but if you try an ice cube (just rubbing it on each other sensually lol) thats pretty nice! BUT to each is his own! (Oh by the way never heard of doing that during climax it all seems more of a foreplay thing)

Had a blackout last night and accidentally knocked over a candle.
I got four, little spots of red candle wax on my rather expensive jeans, but the carpet took the worst beating.
Any advice?
I left the wax on the carpet alone, so it is still hard, and three dimensional.
I freaked out about my jeans though. I quickly wiped the wax off, which left a stain.
Would the ice cube / iron trick still work?
If there’s any residue after the ice, try putting a brown paper bag over the wax. Take a warm iron, not hot, and press over the bag. The residue should be picked up by the brown paper. You can remove any red dye with some rubbing alcohol.
